A new short script. Based on an old joke I heard. The short film Gridlock inspired me to look up old jokes since it's very much based on a joke. I remembered this one in particular.

Very good. Short, but funny.
I'll start on the music later this morning. I have the Abbey Road Keyboards hypersample collection and Electromechanical which have plenty of church organ sounds.
...and all you need is 30 seconds to 1 minute, correct?

Okay, I did 2 arrangements of Carissimi's Vittoria, Mio Core for organ. It's usually voice and piano, so I played it on the organ and it sounded very churchy.

Good, I wasn't completely sure.
If you wanted any variation of room-size or anything let me know, because I just threw a quick sound template on the organ. Or I could take the template off and you could let your sound guy mess with room size and quality in post.

If you can get me a completely room-free sound that works because my sound guy can easily tweak a room size.

The fact that you did it in major and minor is amazing. A very subtle change in the tune will happen before he enters and after he exits but the mood will be different for the audience on two different levels: in story and in sound.

Haha, I just did the minor one because it sounded like sad Russian music or something (funniest when you take something so positive and make it negative).

Alright. I shoot in the church this Thursday. Transportation: confirmed. Location: confirmed. Actors: confirmed. Equipment: confirmed. Schedule: confirmed. Let's DO THIS!!! Friday and Saturday I do all the confessional booth footage. I took it upon myself to do the production design by building a fake interior of the booth.

So we can shoot it in our own time and light it properly. We'll have removable walls and no ceiling to the "booth" for easy lighting and sound.

The shoot went perfectly today. Saturday we finish shooting and the next weekend we'll have a final edit.
