So Billy Joel is sitting in a hotel lobby, clearing his head before a big concert at Madison Square Gardens, when he notices a grand piano in the lobby. There's a bit of temptation in him, but he doesn't get up to play it. He doesn't want to be a show off (at least for free anyway). So he sits back, but suddenly he hears a young boy who just hopped onto the piano playing Piano Man. He humors this, laughing to himself. If only that kid knew he was sitting right there listening to him play his song.

"Oh that was a bad note" he thought, but Joel figured he was being overly critical to the kid so he shrugged it off until another series of bad notes. "Oh, this kid is awful!" he thinks and he tries to tune it out only to hear people in the lobby enthusiastically encouraging the boy to continue. He can't think straight so he walks over to the piano and stands behind the crowd.

"He's quite good" someone says. "A regular Billy Joel himself!" so he can't take anymore and he squeezes through the audience around the boy and tries to sit next to the kid who won't let him intrude on the song. He tries again but the boy won't let him as he continues his massacre of Joel's classic tune. So, fed up, Billy Joel shoves the kid aside to play out the rest of the song the way he meant it to be played... like a CHAMP.
He finishes and no one applauds him. He turns around to see the disgusted faces and finally turns to see the young mentally handicapped kid he shoved away from the piano dusting himself off.
For shame, Billy Joel.

True story that I made up.

True story that I made up.

Hahahahaha, very good. I enjoyed your true story. It hurts so much more that the kid was mentally handicapped.

See, what you could have done is used the new punctuation; "True story :sarcmark:"
