So far I'm on rank 3.
It's quite an awesome game although EA needs to fix the connection crap and drop the SecuROM ♥♥♥♥.

It looked like just another Call of Duty sort of game, but you're ranked number 3!? Wow!
(also, I thought I dropped all the censors since we aren't in an academic environment anymore)

Biggest difference between this and COD: Destructible environments. I wish my PC could run this. Or I wish I had an Xbox right now.

My favorite game (with destructible environments) is the new Red Faction! That game has some incredible physics. Anything and everything can be broken down to the smallest splinter or basically dust (and it's free-roam :D).

I believe you just contradicted yourself, sir.
I simply worded that poorly, Blame the lack of sleep when I typed it.
I meant that even though they have PUBLISHED(read published, not made) An occasional good good game, Most of the games actually developed by EA have been disappointing, Usually crappy shovelware. And they have a terrible habit of taking franchises away from their original creators for various and seemingly random reasons.
Though Activision isn't any better ether. Actually activisions worse!

This is probably due to the original publishers not being able to afford making those games anymore. Since EA has more money, they can afford to bring those franchises in. In actuality, they are saving those games.

It would help if the games were good after they saved them though. when jumping dev teams games tend to take a turn for the worst. Look at Guitar Hero (published by activision which is just as bad)
They do sometimes end up good though, look at Fallout 3(Even though the fans hated it)
I've seen far too many examples of games being ruined from haphazardly jumping dev teams.
What if Neversoft got half-life? that would be horrible!

Well in that case, yeah that's terrible. But in most cases, EA makes games that wouldn't see the light of day, or games that wouldn't be that successful, available to a mass audience.
Also, since they have more money, they are more likely to take chances on games. Just look at games such as Mirror's Edge, Dead Space, or Skate. Each of those games did something risky and it payed off big. I don't think many other publishers would do something like that.

True, That's why I used to like EA, but these days they have so few new games you could call unique even skate is starting the get old with the 3rd one on the horizon. I would really like them to push the Mirrors Edge series, that's their best game in a while, but they seem completely disinterested in it, which is a pity, there's still so much potential with that game.
But on topic for once, the battlefield games have always been fun. I personally liked the one with the mecha.

They've already confirmed that Mirror's Edge is going to be a trilogy. I like that they're taking time with it and not just cranking out sequels right now.

Oh, that's sweet I remember a game informer article that said that the series had problems, I'm glad to know that's not true. they can take all the time in the world as long as the give us a quality game.
I hate when devs do the 1 sequel a year thing.
I don't mind that HL2 Ep 3 has taken 3 years to make, it'll just be that much better.

There's ranks from 1 to 50 i think is the highest.
A couple people I play with are already on Rank 10 and I'm like ♥♥♥♥.
Keep getting pins I guess is the key.

"they're just a terrible company."
Somehow I don't find it coincidental that they would take on a game titled "Bad Company"

What did Activision ever do to you?

Activision's CEO is, for lack of better terms, a greedy ♥♥♥♥ing prick.
He's gone on RECORD saying that he'd make games cost more, if it was up to him.
Also, they fired the heads of Infinity Ward (creators of MW2, their 2nd biggest franchise) for "insubordination" because they wanted to take the series in a new direction. the truth is that Activision didnt even WANT them to make Modern Warfare in the first place, and wanted to keep the series in WW2.
They've bought up studios and absorbed them like nothing.
they went on record saying they were gonna run the Tony Hawk series into the ground, and admitted they were milking it.
they knew they were flooding the market with Guitar Hero SKUs, but did it for more $$$$, and axed Red Octane (the people who CREATED the GH Guitars in the first place) when GH Van Halen flopped.
I'm pretty sure they're also the reason why each Starcraft 2 campaign is being sold separately.
Most recently, they threatened to sue the creators of a fanmade remake/sequel of some 15 year old property they bought up and never used, so they had to shut down development of it. they even had the blessing of the original creators of the property!
Right now they're attempting to propose making patches cost money.
I can keep going. lol
