Alright, so for my documentary in Directing the Doc. class, I've got a project in the works that will make the other students beg to be on my three man crew. It's ambitious and has a good chance of going somewhere. I'm going to follow a man running for state senator in Georgia until the primaries and since he has a nice shot of getting past them, I'll continue this over the summer until the elections in November. He's a Republican running against a democrat in the south. His chances are good. The candidate, Michael Gaster, is cool with the idea and I'm going to meet him this Saturday. Sweet!!

Sounds like this could definitely go somewhere. You'll probably have a leg up on local reporters. Haha, my brother in law--John Sweeney--is doing something similar right now in Hemmingway, SC for "The Weekly Observer". He's been following a few political hopefuls through their campaigns and I'm pretty sure one of them is currently seated.
