Okay, after much deliberation and watching of the movies this past decade up for Best Picture and foreign ones and independent ones etc. I put together my top 10 of movies that if you haven't seen them, you MUST!! Whether they're culturally significant, technically groundbreaking, brilliantly written or just plain entertaining movies, these all have more than one of these.

10. Lost in Translation

9. City of God

8. No Country for Old Men

7. Children of Men

6. There Will Be Blood

5. Babel

4. Memento

3. Amelie

2. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

1. Traffic

I think I've only seen two of these (I'm not a regular at the Tinseltown). So I will definitely need to start renting / downloading!
Actually... I might use my Netflix subscription I got with the PS3 Slim.

Netflix is a great deal, especially with a month free. Go on and watch the instant play options as much as you possibly can, and rent the rest.

If it wasn't apart of the two, you'd probably like Memento. It was written and directed by Christopher Nolan who did the recent Batman movies and Inception coming in a week or two. Nolan's a more serious version of Charlie Kaufman's writing style and themes of mentality and identity.
