Made by emerging Italian film makers and fans of the series, Metal Gear Solid: Philanthropy is a fan movie impressively made with no budget and no intent to make profit, just the sole intent to make a good MGS movie before Hollywood f*cks it up. Hive Division did quite a stand up job with this film[the first of a planned trilogy] and stayed true to the soul of the MGS series,
if anyone's curious, this movies storyline assumes that the Big shell incident never happened and sequels the original MGS in an alternate universe.
